How to Wrap a Picture Frame with Wrapping Paper - Easy DIY Christmas Wall Art
What You'll Need to Wrap Picture Frames with Wrapping Paper
- Pretty Gift Wrap (I Love this Vintage Style Gift Wrap from Amazon)
- Hot Glue Gun (low temp for kids), Scotch Tape, & Scissors
- Christmas Twine, decorative ribbons, burlap, or other gift wrapping supplies
- A Soft Santa Ornament or other favorite ornaments
Tips for Gift Wrapping A Picture Frame
Be sure to use a thick gift wrap that won't rip easily when wrapping it around frames.
You'll also want to make sure that the back of your wrapping paper doesn't have any inks or print that may ruin the art work or frame you're wrapping.
I like to hide the folded corners on the top and bottom of the frames, since you can usually always see the sides. Pinch your fingers along all corners to make crisp lines.
If masking tape won't stick to your picture frame, try painter's tape. It's a bit stickier but still easy to remove from most things.
Use a Low Temp Glue Gun and just a dot of hot glue to attach your ribbons and ornaments. That hot glue should be easy to remove after Christmas.
That'll keep your Christmas decorations as nice as possible for use year after year.
I'm really happy about how this Christmas gift wrapped wall art turned out.
The gift wrapped pictures work with the $20 DIY Barn Star Quilt I made. And, that Red Truck Farmhouse Christmas Village under it looks adorable.
Then the table centerpiece is just a simple large dough bowl filled with pine cones. I'm all heart-eyes over this Dining Room, guys.
Update: Check out the Simple DIY Coffered Ceiling I recently installed in this room. It really turns that ceiling into a beautiful feature!

The second is an update to one of those lighted glass vases you can find almost anywhere.
This vase has pretty ornaments and lights inside but you could see the battery compartment on the bottom and the top was kind of boring.
I wanted to make it match the room better and have a bit more style. So, I wrapped it 2/3rd's up in Christmas gift wrap, then hung 2 jingle bell ornaments on the top.
